The new ‘NDIS Group Supports (FY2020/21)’ transition setting is now available in the Funding tab of System Preferences.

Transitioning to the New Approach for Community and Centre Based Group Supports is a project comprised of multiple phases. We strongly recommend providers who deliver Community and Centre Based Group Supports review this article for important information regarding this project.

Additional tools have been developed to assist providers transition to the New Approach for Community and Centre Based Group NDIS Supports:

NDIS Direct Client Funding records with Transitional Support Item Budgets can be identified using a new search criteria option in the NDIS Budget Utilisation Report
NDIS Support Allocations of Transitional Approach Supports in future-dated Activities can be identified using a new search criteria option in the Allocations Report
Allocations associated with the New Approach can be excluded using the new ‘Group Supports’ filter when Generating Direct BPRs, until such time as all Transitional Support Allocations have been claimed & invoiced, and your organisation is ready to commence claiming & invoicing for New Approach
